Meaningful Moments Deserve to be Marked Well

The purpose of this questionnaire is to help me get to know you better, both as individuals and as a couple. Gathering these details, stories, and meaningful moments will help me create a ceremony in a style that feels personal, authentic and uniquely yours.

Be sure to find somewhere relaxing to complete it and give yourselves time to share everything you can think of. These questions are designed to be completed together. Then there are some personal questions about each other that I invite you to answer separately and privately. I have provided a second link for that questionnaire, which you can both access and complete individually. Your answers will come direct to me when you select SEND at the bottom of the form.

You are welcome to answer all of these questions in as much detail as you are comfortable with.

Please let me know if anything you share is for my understanding only and you would prefer it not to be mentioned during the ceremony.

Are there people who have played an important part in your relationship as a couple? Tell me a little about them and the part they have played.

Who are the significant others taking part in your Ceremony and what will their specific roles be?

What does marriage mean to you, both personally and mutually? And what do you believe makes a marriage strong and lasting?

Are there particular values, beliefs or examples of marriage that have influenced the kind of marriage you hope to create together?

Is there a special significance for the place and date of the Ceremony?

The following questions invite you to tell me the story of your journey together so far. As a guide, perhaps write 2-4 sentences for each part of your story. Let's start with: How did you meet?

How did your relationship develop?

What have been significant moments, milestones and memories that have shaped your life together so far?

When, where and how did you become engaged?

Are there significant hobbies and interests that you share?

When we meet for your Ceremony Planning Session, we’ll talk through the finer details of your Ceremony to ensure it reflects your wishes and runs smoothly. Is there anything you would particularly like me to know or consider before we meet?
