It also helps me anticipate any timing or logistical considerations, and work smoothly alongside your venue and other wedding professionals.

When may we access the venue for a rehearsal? (Ideally plan for the day before)

What time do you have access to the venue on the day?

Is there another event or booking at the venue immediately before or after your Ceremony? If so, what special instructions are in place for this?

Does your agreement with the venue include any conditions, timeframes or restrictions that may affect the Ceremony or my role as your Celebrant

Who will be responsible for setting up the Ceremony space – include their name and contact number. What specifically will they be setting up?

Are there any family circumstances, accessibility requirements or other considerations that may affect the practical arrangements for the Ceremony?

If the Ceremony is outdoors, what contingency is in place if it’s wet weather, or too hot, cold or windy? Who will make the decision, and when, to use those contingency plans?

THE RECEPTION - Please complete the following details if there is a change of venue

What is the name and address of your Reception venue?

Who is your main contact person at the venue, and what are their contact details

If guests are transferring, what are the agreed start/finish times for the second venue?

Are there any venue requirements or restrictions that I need to notify your guests about during the pre-Ceremony housekeeping?

Will the music be live or recorded? What music have you chosen?

Who will provide and operate the music/sound system?

Are there other parts of the day that music will be played? If so, when? And who will choose the mood/music selection?

Is a microphone and speaker available for me as the Celebrant? Hand-held or lapel mic?

OTHER VENDORS

What other vendors are involved on the day - for example musicians, florists, hair and makeup stylists, transport providers
